Time destroys everything

Speaker: Indradyumna Swami
Source: The Hourglass

One time I was listening to Srila Prabhupada speak in France. He was saying time will destroy everything. One time Napoleon is adored in France. Here is France, where is your Napoleon now. Nobody thought Roman empire, Greek empire will perish. Even British empire, one time it was said “sun never sets on the British empire”. Now they occupy an island and “the sun never rises on the empire”.

Krsna is self-effulgent

Speaker: Srila Prabhupada
Source:  How not to be in the material world

Just like in krsna-lila, Krsna was stealing butter. So the neighboring friends of Yasoda-mata, was complaining… It is not a complaint; it was just to see the fun of Krsna. Krsna was sitting, and they were complaining. They were seeing the bodily feature, how Krsna is feeling. So other ladies complaining, “Mother Yasoda, your son comes to our house and steals butter. You see. We try to conceal them in a darkness so that this boy cannot see. But still He finds out. So better you take away all His ornaments because

Speaker: Srila Prabhupada
Source:  Wonderful cure for illusion

Sridhara Svami says that “This process is for giving liberation from all kinds of material bondage.” Akhilasya bandhasya muktaye tam anusmara smrtya varnayata.(?) And again Sridhara Svami gives note herewith that “Not only you meditate, but you preach. That will help your meditation.” Just like I am speaking to you. I am meditating simultaneously. Unless I remember, how can I speak to you? Unless my attention is concentrated without any diversion in Krsna subject matter, how can I speak to you? So that is also samadhi. Don’t think that one who is simply sitting,

But he was a great devotee. Not only devote, acarya in the line of Caitanya Mahaprabhu disciplic succession, acarya. So he sung, ye dine grhete bhajana dekhi, grhete goloka bhaya: “The day whenever we find there is bhajana,” means worshiping the Supreme Lord, “at that time immediately the house becomes Vaikuntha.” Actually, that is so. Vaikuntha or Goloka Vrndavana is not material things.

As Krsna is worship able, aradhya, similarly

Our main business

Speaker: Srila Prabhupada
Source: Srila Prabhupada’s letter to Jayapataka

If you have got some time, the best thing would be to chant Hare Krishna more and more. Because our life is very short, and we have to finish our Krishna Consciousness this life very quickly. We do not know when we shall meet our next death, our next exit from this platform. But before going out of this platform, we may try to finish Krishna Consciousness. That is our main business.
